What kind of grooming services do you offer?
We offer a variety of packages from full service that include haircuts, or bathing only, as well as puppy packages to start getting used to being with us and handled by the groomer. We also have add-ons to help make the most of their spa visit.
What are the requirements for my dog to be groomed?
We require that dogs are 16 weeks of age (4 months) and that all dogs are up to date on all required vaccinations. Those include Rabies, Distemper, Parvo, Parainfluenza, and Lepto. Bordetella is not required, though highly recommended.
How often should I groom my dog?
We recommend having your dog groomed every 4-8 weeks depending on breed and coat type. Daily brushing and combing are recommended in between grooms to keep your pet’s skin and coat in optimal health.
How long will it take to groom my dog?
This will depend on the service you are requesting for your pet. However, we ask for at least an hour and a half to two hours to complete, as some dogs require breaks during grooming.
What if my dog is stressed, anxious, or aggressive? Will you still groom my dog?
We will always make a genuine attempt to groom ALL dogs in our care. However, if a dog becomes highly stressed, or starts to show signs of aggression and the situation becomes a safety concern, for both dog and groomer, we will discontinue the groom. We will always go over recommendations for grooming your dog and try to find solutions that best cater to your dog’s individual needs.
